Four Free Tips To Combat Doubt

To combat doubt is challenging because many see doubt as truth. They don’t question it and accept being alienated by it! Even though self-doubt tries to protect you, it sabotages you from changing a negative pattern. This leads to your deterioration of confidence. In order to battle negative patterns, you must combat doubting yourself and feeling awkward! Mel Robbins who you can find out about in a previous video made I made mentions four traps to battle self-doubt.


  • Hesitation: Chatter of Negative Dialogue that Keep You Stuck.
  • Hiding: Procrastination Avoids Action.
  • Hypercritical: Anti-Self, Attacking Your Abilities.
  • Helplessness: Learned Behaviour and Feelings of Uselessness.

Overcoming being trapped, involves delving into your inner workings. For example, choose an area in your life that needs change. Over the next 60 days, figure out which one of the four traps you are struggling with.  Is it hesitation? Is it hiding? Is it hyper-critical? Or is it helplessness?  Decide how to handle it. Devise a plan to combat the problem.

Self-doubting weakens confidence. Doubt makes you hesitate, hide, be hypercritical and feel helpless. Even if you feel a failure, with the 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 rule, you break the habit of letting go of the rattle that is harassing you.
